Halifax Regional Municipality has released eight new datasets on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/catalogue-hrm.opendata.arcgis.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Open Data<\/a>, as part of an ongoing commitment to provide public access to data created and managed by the municipality. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new datasets include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/data-hrm.hub.arcgis.com\/datasets\/census-2016-census-divisions\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Census 2016 Census Divisions<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a Results<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>A wide range of data can be sourced for free through the catalogue, such as transit routes and schedule data, solid waste collection schedules, and area rates. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>New data releases occur several times throughout the year, with the most recent release on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.halifax.ca\/home\/news\/new-datasets-available-open-data-6\" was formalized by Regional Council later that year through the adoption of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.halifax.ca\/sites\/default\/files\/documents\/city-hall\/legislation-by-laws\/AO-2014-006-ADM.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>Administrative Order
