SHUBENACADIE: <\/strong> Sixty-six drivers were issued provincial summary offence tickets during a one day spree by RCMP Northwest Traffic Services. <\/p>\n\n\n\n On February\u00a022, RCMP Northwest Traffic Services conducted enforcement patrols in the communities of Enfield, Elmsdale, Milford, and Shubenacadie. <\/p>\n\n\n\n As a result, officers issued\u00a066\u00a0Provincial Summary Offence Tickets under the Motor Vehicle Act.<\/p>\n\n\n\n ADVERTISEMENT:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate banner=”111″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate banner=”190″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n The tickets issued were for the following offences:<\/p>\n\n\n\n 10\u00a0for driving without valid inspection sticker or certificate<\/p>\n\n\n\n Nine\u00a0for driving without insurance<\/p>\n\n\n\n Nine\u00a0for driving an unregistered vehicle<\/p>\n\n\n\n Eight for driving with a suspended licence<\/p>\n\n\n\n Six\u00a0for using a hand-held cellular device while driving<\/p>\n\n\n\n Five\u00a0for driving above the posted speed limit<\/p>\n\n\n\n Five\u00a0for not wearing a seat belt<\/p>\n\n\n\n ADVERTISEMENT:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate group=”2″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate banner=”93″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n In addition, officers also issued three Criminal Code charges: <\/p>\n\n\n\n Two charges of Driving While Prohibited and; <\/p>\n\n\n\n Refusal or Failure to Provide Breath Sample.<\/p>\n\n\n\n “Every motorist has a responsibility to protect themselves and other road users,” said RCMP Northwest Traffic Services Sgt.
