\u201cI\u2019m doing a lot of preparations and making sure I\u2019m fully prepared when nationals time comes around to make sure I can compete at my best level,\u201d said the senior at Musquodoboit Rural High School in Middle Musquodoboit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
ADVERTISEMENT:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate banner=”67″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate banner=”115″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n Cole said she as a lot of personal goals to prove to herself and show people how hard she\u2019s been working in the off-season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI would like to see myself competing for podium positions every weekend this summer,\u201d said Cole. \u201cI believe I\u2019m more than capable of that and my hard work can back up that goal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThis goal\u00a0won’t\u00a0come easy but with hard work and determination as well as continuing my program I know I can compete at that level.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n She said the training in the U.S. consists of a lot of seat time on the bike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cTrying to constantly improve and also get more comfortable on the bike,\u201d she added. \u201cI also spend a lot of time in the gym either doing strength workouts or long cycling rides to increase endurance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cBoth factors of my training are very important and work together for me to be successful. <\/p>\n\n\n\n ADVERTISEMENT:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate banner=”87″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate banner=”190″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n She has a lot of people that help her make things happen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n That list includes Mom, Dad, Toys For Big Boys crew, Larry and Keira Northrup, TM Plumbing and Heating, TJ Martin, Fox Canada, Matrix Concepts Canada, FMF, Mark at Southport Asset Management. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Will Nova Scotia friends and family get to see her race this summer?
