{"id":43744,"date":"2024-03-18T20:27:20","date_gmt":"2024-03-18T23:27:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thelaker.ca\/?p=43744"},"modified":"2024-03-18T20:27:20","modified_gmt":"2024-03-18T23:27:20","slug":"man-woman-arrested-by-police-for-drug-offences","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/staging-z.thelaker.ca\/?p=43744","title":{"rendered":"Man, woman arrested by police for drug offences"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;169&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;105&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>WEST HANTS:<\/strong> A 32-year-old man and 40-year-old woman, both from Windsor, have been arrested for drug-related offences by West Hants RCMP. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a release, police say that the West Hants RCMP Street Crime Enforcement Unit (SCEU) arrested the two after executing a search warrant at a home in Windsor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On March 15, the West Hants RCMP SCEU, with assistance from the West Hants RCMP General Investigation Section and the West Hants RCMP Detachment, executed a search warrant at a residence on Victoria St.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ADVERTISEMENT:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;71&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;34&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the execution of the warrant, RCMP officers safely arrested two people. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The search that followed at the home resulted in the seizure of a quantity of cash, suspected cocaine, prescription pills, psilocybin, packaging materials, scales and cellphones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A 32-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman, both of Windsor, are facing the following charges:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Possession for Purpose of Trafficking;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Production of Substance;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Possession of Property Obtained by Crime;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Possession of Substances.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Both accused were later released on conditions and will appear in Windsor Provincial Court on June 25.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>File #: 2024-227172<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;192&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;31&#8243;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;169&#8243;] [adrotate banner=&#8221;105&#8243;] WEST HANTS: A 32-year-old man and 40-year-old woman, both from Windsor, have been arrested for drug-related offences by West Hants RCMP.
