WINDSOR JUNCTION: <\/strong>Sylvie Aulenback wants to know \u201cWhat\u2019s Enough.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n The teenager, who lives just outside of Halifax, released her debut single and video by that name last week. She takes lessons at Joyful Sound Music Studio and has been helped along with her music by Izra Fitch, her teacher.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cIt\u2019s a dream,\u201d she said of having the single produced and released.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Sylvie talked a bit about her motivation for writing songs, like \u201cWhat\u2019s Enough.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWhen I was younger, about six or seven-years-old, I had a friend who wrote songs and I was very interested in it,\u201d said Aulenback, speaking of a friend when her family lived in Bridgewater.<\/p>\n\n\n\n ADVERTISEMENT:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate banner=”213″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate banner=”31″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate banner=”93″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n The song title came simply from the first chorus of the song, so she decided with that being the theme that should be the single\u2019s title.<\/p>\n\n\n\n She said being involved in the songwriters group at Joyful Sounds motivated her more to write songs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cA lot of the time I\u2019m just an emotional girl so writing songs definitely helps,\u201d said the Grade 9 student. \u201cIt helps get the emotions out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cIt\u2019s also like a little diary, so writing \u201cWhat\u2019s Enough\u201d helped me through figure out my emotions.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n “What\u2019s Enough” was on CBC Radio before it had even been released.<\/p>\n\n\n\n That left Sylvie amazed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cIt was so surreal to me,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n VIDEO:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
