{"id":45045,"date":"2024-05-10T12:11:19","date_gmt":"2024-05-10T15:11:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thelaker.ca\/?p=45045"},"modified":"2024-05-10T12:11:19","modified_gmt":"2024-05-10T15:11:19","slug":"n-s-adding-more-child-care-spaces-in-halifax-region","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/staging-z.thelaker.ca\/?p=45045","title":{"rendered":"N.S. adding more child care spaces in Halifax region"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;188&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;192&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>HALIFAX:<\/strong> Mount Saint Vincent University (MSVU) will add more spaces to its child study centre in Halifax and expand the age groups it serves with funding support from the provincial and federal governments, the Minister of Education and Early Childhood Development announced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Becky Druhan made the announcement of the cost-sharing agreement in support of Mount Saint Vincent University\u2019s child study centre May 10 at MSVU in Bedford.<br \/><br \/>This will help meet the need for child care in the community and enhance the education and professional development of aspiring early childhood educators in the university\u2019s child and youth study program, while offering research opportunities in the field.<br \/><br \/>\u201cWe are pleased to support the expansion of MSVU\u2019s child-care facility.
