Wyatt Sanford<\/a> (Kennetcook, N.S) \u2013 Men\u2019s 63.5kg Both athletes qualified for Paris 2024 when they won their respective weight classes at the Santiago 2023 Pan American Games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n ADVERTISEMENT:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate banner=”190″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate banner=”115″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n This will be the second Olympic appearance for Sanford, who was also the only male boxer on Team Canada\u2019s Tokyo 2020 team. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The 25-year-old moved to Montreal in 2017 where he currently trains full-time at Boxing Canada\u2019s National Training Centre. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Sanford won bronze at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games and advanced to the round of 16 at the 2019 World Championships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n ADVERTISEMENT:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate banner=”219″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate group=”8″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n Thibeault, who lives and trains in Montreal, will make her second Olympic appearance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n At Tokyo 2020, she advanced to the quarterfinals, matching Canada\u2019s best Olympic result in any women\u2019s boxing event.
