MOUNT UNIACKE<\/strong>:A 56-year-old Mount Uniacke woman will face impaired driving charges in court in August, East Hants RCMP say.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Const. Preston Burns, Community Policing Officer with East Hants RCMP in Enfield, said on June 29 an officer was heading to a noise complaint report in Mount Uniacke.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cOn route, he came across a vehicle in a ditch,\u201d said Const. Burns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cUpon further investigation a witness was able to direct the officer to the driver of the vehicle who he was able to have a conversation with.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n ADVERTISEMENT:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate banner=”218″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate banner=”111″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n Const. Burns said according to the officer the driver displayed signs of impairment by alcohol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cShe was arrested for impaired driving,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The woman was transported to the Enfield RCMP detachment where they provided samples of their breath.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The samples of the breath showed a reading of over three times the legal limit of 80 mg%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Susan Snow, 56, of Mount Uniacke has been charged with impaired driving related offences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n She will appear in court in August to face the charges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate group=”2″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate banner=”115″]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" [adrotate banner=”190″] [adrotate banner=”111″] MOUNT UNIACKE:A 56-year-old Mount Uniacke woman will face impaired driving charges in court in August, East Hants RCMP say.
