(Submitted photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The following day (Thursday Sept 26) will bring them to The Cap\u2019s Jazz at Wilsers\u2019 series in Fredericton, New Brunswick, with special guest, saxophonist Joel Miller. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Friday Sept. 27, they\u2019ll appear for the Island Jazz organization at Baba\u2019s in downtown Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. There, they\u2019ll be joined by saxophonist Dan Rowswell, bassist Chris Martell and drummer Mat MacEachern. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They\u2019ll make their final stop at the small concert hall The Music Room in north Halifax, accompanied by bassist Dr. Paul<br \/>Rushka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tickets for shows on the tour are available on eventbrite. See Verbrugge&#8217;s website for the link at <a href=\"https:\/\/angelaverbrugge.com\/atlanticcanadatour\">https:\/\/angelaverbrugge.com\/atlanticcanadatour<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ADVERTISEMENT:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate group=&#8221;6&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;148&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Verbrugge has swiftly become one of Canada\u2019s busiest jazz performers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This spring, she wasnomina ted for the Jazz Artist of the Year at the Western Canadian Music Awards. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since winning JazzTimes\u2019 prestigious Best Female Vocalist poll in 2020, she\u2019s toured her romantic, humorous<br \/>and inventive songwriting \u2014 pleasantly and tastefully evocative of the classics \u2014 as far as Japan, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, Germany, Luxembourg, France and T\u00fcrkiye. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her artistry combines the sensibilities of bebop, vintage movie musicals, and the Great American Songbook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Verbrugge&#8217;s songwriting has been praised by international jazz critics, and her most popular song on Spotify (with over half a million listens) was a finalist in the International Songwriting Competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ADVERTISEMENT:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;34&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[adrotate banner=&#8221;210&#8243;]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Verbrugge has performed with a cross-section of jazz\u2019s best and brightest, including a number of Grammy and Juno winners and nominees, and Order of Canada recipients.
