FALL RIVER:<\/strong> A 29-year-old Dartmouth man has been charged with assault-related offences following an incident last month in Fall River.<\/p>\n\n\n\n RCMP responded on Aug. 22 at approximately 5:15 a.m. to an assault that occurred on McPherson Road in Fall River, said Cpl. Guillaume Tremblay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cRCMP officers learned that a man had assaulted a woman known to him at the home before fleeing the scene,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The 29-year-old victim suffered minor injuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n ADVERTISEMENT:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate banner=”34″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate group=”6″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n On September 4, at approximately 12:15 a.m., RCMP officers received information that the man, who now had an arrest warrant against him, had returned to the residence on McPherson Rd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cOfficers attended and after a foot chase the 29-year-old man was safely arrested,\u201d said Cpl.
