WINDSOR JUNCTION:<\/strong> A former longtime Fall River resident has been named as a Visionary of the Year candidate for the Atlantic region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The recognition is in support of an incredibly important cause \u2013 the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada (LLSC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n While she may not live in the area anymore, Christine LeFebvre has many friends and family who still live in the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI\u2019m honoured to be joining the philanthropic leaders from across the country, competing for The Leukemia Lymphoma Society of Canada\u2019s prestigious Visionary of the Year title,\u201d said Lefebvre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI will be running with my Purple Warriors, raising awareness and fundraising like crazy to help fight blood cancers.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n ADVERTISEMENT:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate banner=”148″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate banner=”31″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n Lefebvre said she will need the community\u2019s help along the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Visionary Campaign runs from March 27th to June 6th, and every contribution counts\u2014whether it\u2019s donating, finding sponsors or being one, or simply liking and sharing her updates on Facebook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cYour support will make a real difference in the lives of those affected by these diseases,\u201d said Lefebvre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Any fundraising people want to help with, do themselves or rally to support Lefebvre’s team would be amazing.
