LOWER SACKVILLE:<\/strong> The former MLA for Bedford South is stepping up to try his hand at the federal ring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Braedon Clark announced on Facebook that he will be seeking the federal Liberal nomination for Sackville-Bedford-Preston following the announcement that MP Darrell Samson would not be seeking re-election.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Clark said he is stepping forward because Canada is facing major challenges at home and abroad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI believe this moment demands serious, thoughtful, and authentic political leadership,\u201d said Clark. <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThat\u2019s what I offered as the MLA for Bedford South, and it\u2019s what I would bring to the table as the Member of Parliament for Sackville-Bedford-Preston.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n ADVERTISEMENT:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate banner=”34″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate group=”6″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n Clark has lived in this community almost his entire life; it\u2019s where he is now raising his own family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI want to see its people succeed and thrive in the years to come,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI also want to recognize and thank Darrell Samson for an outstanding decade of service as the MP for the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI hope to match the high standard he has always set in the role.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n ADVERTISEMENT:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate banner=”148″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate banner=”31″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n He said there will be lots more to say in the days and weeks to come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI\u2019m excited to get started on this journey,\u201d said Clark. \u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n I hope I can count on your support and encouragement along the way.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Clark attended the community skate that Samson and FRABA hosted at the Sackville Arena on N.S.
