He is already developing diabetes from steroids, and doctors are closely watching for kidney failure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He needs constant monitoring, and his mother is now his full-time caregiver.&nbsp;Both parents are unable to work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>They cannot pay their rent<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>They still have to put food on the table<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Their car is essential for hospital trips, but the cost of gas and maintenance is rising fast<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>And now, they have to move out of their current home<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>When he is discharged from the hospital, their son will be too weak to climb stairs.
