EAST HANTS:<\/strong> Speeding was the top call that officers with East Hants RCMP responded to during last month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The top five calls for April was released with last week\u2019s From the Cruiser as provided by S\/Sgt. Michael Balmaceda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here are the top calls:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Speeding<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Suspended\/Disqualified\/Unlicensed Drivers<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Expired Motor Vehicle Inspection Stickers<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Failing to Obey Traffic Signals<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Distracted Driving \u2013 Cell Phone<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    S\/Sgt. Balmaceda said all of these are contributing factors against Road Safety which the East Hants RCMP along with East Hants Municipal Councillors have deemed a priority for the municipality.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    He added that residents can expect to see enforcement increase with the priority of road safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
