EAST HANTS\/LOWER SACKVILLE:<\/strong> Four Sackville-Bedford Bravehearts have been endorsed to join Team N.S. at the Canada Games this summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The four will be part of Nova Scotia\u2019s entry at the Games, set for Aug. 8-15 in St. John\u2019s, NL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This is another piece showing that Canada Games has taken a step towards inclusion with the addition of Special Olympic and Paralympic categories in Athletics and Swimming at the games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n ADVERTISEMENT:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate banner=”218″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate banner=”78″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n The selection was made based on performance at a time trial this month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Named to the Canada Games were:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Maxim Thibault<\/p>\n\n\n\n Landon Arbeau<\/p>\n\n\n\n Ellie Hearn<\/p>\n\n\n\n The three produced the fastest times and have been selected to represent SONS on Team NS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n ADVERTISEMENT:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate banner=”115″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate banner=”190″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n The three will be joined by Special Olympics Lunenburg\/Queens Athlete Aiya Peters and another Bravehearts Swimmer, Dylan Balmaceda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Balmaceda qualified as a Paralympic Swimmer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n East Hants RCMP Staff Sgt.
