FALL RIVER:<\/strong> Quinn Gillis comes home every day and works on her crafts for her business.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n The 10-year-old Fall River girl goes to Ecole du Grand Portage and has always loved doing arts and crafts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cBecause it\u2019s kind of relaxing and it\u2019s fun to do,\u201d Gillis said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n The idea to start selling in markets came when she decided she wanted to raise some money so she could go on a Disney cruise. <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI\u2019ve saved $200 so far, so I\u2019m excited,\u201d Gillis said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u00a0ADVERTISEMENT:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate group=”6″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate banner=”31″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n After deciding this was something she wanted to do, she knew she would need lots of supplies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI saved up all my birthday money to get my Cricut, and then when I started making stuff, my parents gave me a loan,\u201d Gillis said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Gillis promised to pay all of it back, and after each market would save 25% of her earnings to give to her parents. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Now, after doing seven markets, she has paid every cent of it back like she promised. She recently participated in the Jamieson Park crafters market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u00a0ADVERTISEMENT:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate banner=”105″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n [adrotate banner=”71″]<\/p>\n\n\n\n She sells items like bookmarks, keychains, earrings, stickers and night lights.
