{"id":56961,"date":"2025-07-16T14:41:13","date_gmt":"2025-07-16T17:41:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thelaker.ca\/?p=56961"},"modified":"2025-07-16T14:41:13","modified_gmt":"2025-07-16T17:41:13","slug":"lantz-woman-facing-charges-of-impaired-driving","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/staging-z.thelaker.ca\/?p=56961","title":{"rendered":"Lantz woman facing charges of impaired driving"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"alignnormal\">[metaslider id=&#8221;56509&#8243;]<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>LANTZ:\u00a0<\/strong> A Lantz woman is due in court in September to face charges of impaired driving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>RCMP say that on July 13, officers received a report of an impaired driver leaving one of the subdivisions in Lantz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOfficers were able to locate the vehicle shortly after being dispatched to the call travelling almost 100 km\/hr in a 50 km\/hr zone,\u201d police said in a release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Officers detected an odor of liquor from the driver who subsequently failed a roadside breath test.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ADVERTISEMENT:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"alignnormal\">[metaslider id=&#8221;56376&#8243;]<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The driver was arrested for Operation while Impaired and was brought back to the detachment for further testing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once back at the detachment the female failed another breath test.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She was issued a 90-day driving suspension.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The woman was ordered to appear in court on September 22.
