{"id":56976,"date":"2025-07-17T18:30:00","date_gmt":"2025-07-17T21:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thelaker.ca\/?p=56976"},"modified":"2025-07-17T18:30:00","modified_gmt":"2025-07-17T21:30:00","slug":"rcmp-continuing-intensive-investigation-into-lilly-and-jacks-disappearance","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/staging-z.thelaker.ca\/?p=56976","title":{"rendered":"RCMP continuing intensive investigation into Lilly and Jack&#8217;s disappearance"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"alignnormal\">[metaslider id=&#8221;56506&#8243;]<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:35px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"alignnormal\">[metaslider id=&#8221;56509&#8243;]<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>LANSDOWNE STATION:<\/strong> The Nova Scotia RCMP\u2019s intensive investigation into the disappearance of Lilly and Jack Sullivan continues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The investigative team in the Northeast Nova RCMP Major Crime Unit is leading the investigational efforts under the <em>Missing Persons Act<\/em>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They\u2019re assisted by RCMP units in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Ontario, along with the National Centre of Missing Persons, Canadian Centre for Child Protection, and provincial and municipal police agencies from Nova Scotia and other parts of Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Their efforts include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Reviewing approximately 5,000 video files that have been obtained through a video canvass of Lansdowne Station and the surrounding areas<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assessing more than 600 tips from the public<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Formally interviewing more than 60 people, including the administration of polygraph to some individuals<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Forensic examination of materials located through ground and air searches in Lansdowne Station, including a pink blanket that officers seized on Lansdowne Rd.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Submitting judicial authorizations to seize and examine materials and devices that may provide information useful to the investigation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ADVERTISEMENT:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"alignnormal\">[metaslider id=&#8221;56526&#8243;]<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:36px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"alignnormal\">[metaslider id=&#8221;56191&#8243;]<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cRight now, there are more than 800 tasks associated to this investigation,\u201d says S\/Sgt.
