all for free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ADVERTISEMENT:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"alignnormal\">[metaslider id=&#8221;56526&#8243;]<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"alignnormal\">[metaslider id=&#8221;56376&#8243;]<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2 Days of Your Summer Can Change 2 Families\u2019 Lives Forever<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Demand for Shelter Movers\u2019 services has steadily increased every year since the Nova Scotia Chapter began offering services 6 years ago. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Colette, a mover and truck driver for Shelter Movers\u2019 Nova Scotia Chapter, originally got involved with Shelter Movers prior to the Summer of 2024. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI initially signed up to volunteer with Shelter Movers to help out in the rural communities over the summer while work was slow. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s been over a year now, and I\u2019m still signing up whenever I can to help on the moves in my area.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Matt, a mover for the chapter says: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI figured a volunteer role would boost my resume, and it was something I could do during my spare time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s now been over three years with Shelter Mover,s and I have done more than 40 moves. Children who witness violence in the home have twice the rate of psychiatric disorders as children from non-violent homes.
