BEAVER BANK:<\/strong> It’s been an amazing year for one Beaver Bank musician turned author.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Ian Gosbee, the year has seen many success musically and also awards for his new book he just released as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sound Mind: Mental and Emotional Wellness for Musicians is his third book in a series he’s written, which continues his mission to support musicians’ health and creativity on and off the stage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The book was recently awarded the International Impact Book Award in the Music Category at a ceremony in Phoenix, Arizona.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Besides the accolades for the book, there have been many highlights msuically for Gosbee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2025 World Songwriting Awards \u2013 Winter Finalist for Best Traditional Country Song (Love in a Bordertown)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gosbee said this recognition from both the literary and music communities reinforces the importance of supporting creativity and mental health in the arts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“As both an author and award-winning musician, my career has been dedicated to telling stories that connect with people on personal, emotional, and cultural levels,” he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
