FALL RIVER\/BEAVER BANK: <\/strong> Residents in HRM are being encouraged to help shape the future of Halifax Transit by sharing feedback on a new transit plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Residents are encouraged to review the proposed plan details and complete a survey available at shapeyourcityhalifax.ca\/core-service-plan<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The municipality is seeking your input on: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7       bus routes that need more frequent service; <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7       new and modified routes designed to support our growing municipality; <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7       your travel habits and the routes you take; and,  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7       feedback on long-term transit initiatives. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Residents will also be able to provide feedback through various in-person engagement sessions which will be made available on their website<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Halifax Transit is evolving planning to focus on short-term improvements to our transit network. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unlike Halifax Transit\u2019s previous five-year planning process, this three-year plan will allow for a more agile model that responds to the evolving needs of residents.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

HRM said residents input will inform the creation of a new Core Service Plan launching in 2025.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
