ENFIELD: <\/strong>Over the past week, officers with East Hants RCMP responded to ninety-six calls for service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The following are some of the highlighted calls as provided by Sgt. Scott MacRae with East Hants RCMP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MAN CHARGED WITH ASSAULT<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A 52-year-old East Hants man has been arrested for an alleged assault.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Police responded to a report of a domestic assault in the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A woman was allegedly thrown to the ground by a man.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

RCMP officers attended the scene and were able to locate the suspect. He was arrested for assault.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Police also seized two firearms at the scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Traffic Offences<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

East Hants RCMP issued seven Summary Offence Tickets during this period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This included tickets for speeding, failing to obey a traffic sign, failing to stop for a red light, and operating a vehicle without registration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the start of a new school year the public reminded to drive carefully, obey school zone speed limits, and be mindful around school buses for the safety of children getting on and off buses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Police also attended to six motor vehicle collisions during the past week.<\/p>\n\n\n

East Hants Most Wanted<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This week East Hants\u2019 most wanted is Wilfred Simon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Simon is wanted for Assault.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
