MILFORD: <\/strong>Here is a look at the July calls for local volunteer fire departments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Call info has been provided by Milford Fire; Elmsdale Fire; Kennetcook fire; Indian Brook fire; Enfield fire; Nine Mile River fire; Lantz Fire; Uniacke & District fire; Stewiacke fire; and Shubenacadie fire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Milford Fire<\/strong> had received 14 Calls in July. Out of these, 13 were for Mutual Aid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The calls consisted of five structure fires; four MVC\u2019s; two medicals; a garbage fire; grass fire; and a smoke condition inside a structure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Elmsdale fire<\/strong>, they responded to 23 calls in July.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The tally was led by eight medical assists; four alarm activations; two mvc\u2019s; two mvc\u2019s Hwy 102 northbound; one brush fire; one other; and one vehicle fire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Indian Brook fire<\/strong> had 10 calls for the month of July, led by seven mutual aid calls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Four of the mutual aid responses were to Shubenacadie Fire and three to Stewiacke Fire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other calls in their own community were one garbage on fire; one brush fire; and one residential fire alarm (false alarm) call.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enfield fire<\/strong> had 24 times when they heard the \u201csound of their people\u201d in July.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The pager toned nine times for medical assists and eight times for mutual aid requests. Firefighters also responded to three mvc\u2019s; three brush fires; and one structure fire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For firefighters with Uniacke & District fire<\/strong>, they heard the tones 31 times in July, eld by1 6 medical assists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There were also eight mvc\u2019s; four mutual aid requests; and three brush fires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lantz firefighters<\/strong> dealt with 13 calls, led by four structure fires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They also addressed three medical assists; two RIT calls; one vehicle fire; one MVC; and one alarm activation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Kenentcook fire<\/strong> in July, they had six calls led by three woods fire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They also had two MVC\u2019s; and one medical assist call.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shubenacadie fire<\/strong> attended to 12 calls, led by six mutual aid calls. They had four MVC\u2019s in their district and two grass fires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The mutual aid calls were three to Stewiacke fire for structure fires; and Indian Brook for three calls, one of each a woods fire; dumpster fire; and an alarm call.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Nine Mile River fire<\/strong>, they had a busy month with 12 calls, led by five mutual aid requests to neighbouring departments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Firefighters also responded to four MVC\u2019s; and three medical assist calls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stewiacke Fire<\/strong> had 29 calls in July, led by 12 medical assists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They also heard their pager tone for four MVC\u2019s; three commercial fire alarms; three structure fires; two mutual aid requests; on structure fire flare up; one trash fire; one power lines down arching; one fire investigation; and one grass\/brush fire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
