TRURO:<\/strong> Renovations began on Wednesday at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre (CEHHC) emergency department (ED) in Truro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The emergency department waiting room and triage will be temporarily relocated to the ambulance bay, next to the current ED entrance. The ambulance bay will serve as the main entrance and waiting area until renovations are complete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During this time, the emergency department entrance will be closed.\u00a0People seeking urgent and emergency care will be redirected to the ambulance bay, located next to the emergency department.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hospital and security staff will be on site to direct patients and visitors and new signs have been installed to direct people to the temporary entrance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There will be no impact to EHS ambulance access during this time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Renovations are expected be complete by mid-November.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
