{"id":59064,"date":"2025-10-05T09:00:00","date_gmt":"2025-10-05T12:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thelaker.ca\/?p=59064"},"modified":"2025-10-05T09:00:00","modified_gmt":"2025-10-05T12:00:00","slug":"data-shows-winnipeg-most-popular-rental-market-halifax-makes-top-five","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/staging-z.thelaker.ca\/?p=59064","title":{"rendered":"Data shows Winnipeg most popular rental market; Halifax makes top five"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"alignnormal\">[metaslider id=&#8221;56501&#8243;]<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>TORONTO, ONT.:<\/strong> Winnipeg is the top city in Canada attracting the most renter interest nationwide, according to new Q2 data from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rentcafe.com\/blog\/rental-market\/market-snapshots\/canada-renter-interest-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">RentCafe.com\u2019s Renter Interest Report.<\/a>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ranking is based on millions of interactions with Canadian listings on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rentcafe.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">RentCafe.com<\/a>, offering a real-time snapshot at where apartment-hunters are focusing their attention.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Here are the <\/strong><strong>top 5 <\/strong><strong>most in-demand cities right now:<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Winnipeg, MB, is Canada\u2019s most popular rental market, also ranking #1 for favourited properties&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Moncton, NB, comes in second.
