LOWER SACKVILLE:<\/strong> A new business in the community is inviting residents to kick off Halloween in a fun and active way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Top Rank Martial Arts, located inside at Studio B in the Sackville Sports Stadium, will host a public Halloween event on Oct. 30, featuring food, prizes, and a chance to try Taekwondo for free. It will run from 6-8 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe\u2019ll have pizza and water for sale for $3, free Halloween treats for the kids, and lots of prizes,\u201d said Tim Reynolds, the owner and instructor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSome of the plates will even have special stickers underneath for surprise giveaways \u2014 things like a T-shirt, a hoodie, or even a one-month membership.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event will include an open-to-the-public Taekwondo class where participants are encouraged to come in costume.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt\u2019s Halloween \u2014 so if you want to take a class in costume, go for it,\u201d Reynolds said with a laugh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Halloween night also serves as an introduction to the new martial arts school, which officially opened on Sept. 16.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis is a way to meet the community, show what we do, and welcome anyone who wants to learn more,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Top Rank\u2019s philosophy is built around inclusivity and confidence-building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThere are no limitations \u2014 medically or mentally \u2014 that stop anyone from training with us,\u201d Reynolds said. \u201cEveryone is welcome here.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The evening promises fun for all ages, with spooky surprises and a friendly atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cPeople should come, get their scare on, and enjoy some Taekwondo,\u201d the instructor said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAs long as they don\u2019t scare me too much \u2014 we\u2019re all good.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n
