industry awards 2025 this weekend with a pair of awards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mo Kenney was among the big winners at the awards weekend which handed out 31 awards in 23 music and eight industry categories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The awards were presented on Sunday morning at the event hosted by Katie Kelly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Music Nova Scotia Awards Brunch was held at the Rodd Grand Yarmouth\u2019s Yarmouth\/Shelburne Room and celebrated both new and notable artists. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Besides Kenny, Halifax Jazz Festival, KAYO, and Terra Spencer each picked up two awards. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ADVERTISEMENT:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"alignnormal\">[metaslider id=&#8221;56530&#8243;]<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"alignnormal\">[metaslider id=&#8221;56179&#8243;]<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Kenney, who was one of the performers at the Summer Concert series at the Waverley Village Green, took home awards in two categories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The awards Kenney won for were SOCAN Songwriter of the Year and Music Video of the Year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The music video, From Nowhere, was directed by Nicole Cecile Holland and Sarah Swire<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Mo Kenney - From Nowhere (Music Video)\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/UnDiz42hLUY?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer;
