MIDDLE SACKVILLE: <\/strong>A 34-year-old woman and 33-year-old man have been charged after the RCMP\/HRP Integrated Criminal Investigation Division (ICID) executed a search warrant in Middle Sackville.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On October 23, ICID\u2019s Guns and Gang Unit, with assistance of RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment, executed a search warrant at a property in the 2800 block of Sackville Dr.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the home, a 33-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman were safely arrested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the search, officers seized quantities of cocaine, crystal methamphetamine, methamphetamine ice pills, prison packs, a stolen ATV, and cash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Information gained through the investigation led officers to a nearby wooded area where a shotgun was also located and seized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jamie Joseph Lafitte, of Middle Sackville, has been charged with:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (two counts)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Laundering Proceeds of Crime<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Contravene Firearm Regulations \u2013 Unsafe Storage<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Possession of a Weapon Obtained by Crime<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Possession of a Firearm Contrary to Prohibition Order (two counts)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Fail to Comply with Release Order (four counts)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Lafitte made an appearance in Dartmouth Provincial Court on October 24.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    He remains in custody and is next scheduled to appear next on November 19.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Danika Jean Moore, of Middle Sackville, has been charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (two counts).\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    She was released on conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Moore will appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court on November 19.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The investigation is ongoing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
