MOUNT UNIACKE: <\/strong>A young boy and his family who is battling Ewing Sarcoma disease is getting a boost from the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Keelin is fighting Ewing Sarcoma, which is a cancer that that affects children\/young adults. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He has traveled with his parents to Penn State Children\u2019s Hospital in the U.S last March for a consultation with a Doctor in hopes they can better treat his cancer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They are now fundraising to cover the cost of his chemo drugs that are $7000 a month that Blue Cross has denied covering. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Drs in the U.S have prescribed these meds but Canada will not support his treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the meantime, the community of Mount Uniacke and area is stepping up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A touch-a-truck fundraiser event is being planned for Nov. 16. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It will take place at the Uniacke & District Fire Hall in Mount Uniacke from 1-3 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There will be baked goods and silent auction items up for grabs, plus those attending will get toe xplore and sit in some fire trucks. What is better than that?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A bouncy castle is also going to be setup so bring the family for some fun in support of Kellin and his family. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let’s show Keelin and his family how much we’re behind this little warrior!<\/p>\n\n\n
