{"id":60618,"date":"2025-11-27T19:36:15","date_gmt":"2025-11-27T23:36:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thelaker.ca\/?p=60618"},"modified":"2025-11-27T19:36:15","modified_gmt":"2025-11-27T23:36:15","slug":"digital-mobile-x-ray-now-available-at-middle-musquodoboit-hospital","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/staging-z.thelaker.ca\/?p=60618","title":{"rendered":"Digital mobile X-Ray now available at Middle Musquodoboit hospital"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"alignnormal\">[metaslider id=&#8221;56514&#8243;]<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>MIDDLE MUSQUODOBOIT:<\/strong> Nova Scotia Health is pleased to share that a new digital mobile X-ray unit is now available to support patient care at Musquodoboit Valley Memorial Hospital in Middle Musquodoboit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new X-ray unit provides diagnostic imaging services for patients of the hospital\u2019s Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC), inpatients and those with scheduled outpatient appointments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The unit was made possible through funding provided by the Government of Nova Scotia. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe community has been advocating for an X-ray machine for Musquodoboit Valley Memorial Hospital for some time and I\u2019m pleased it\u2019s now a reality,\u201d said Colchester-Musquodoboit Valley MLA and Justice Minister Scott Armstrong. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cNow people who need diagnostic imaging won\u2019t have to travel but instead get it right in their home community.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ADVERTISEMENT:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"alignnormal\">[metaslider id=&#8221;56376&#8243;]<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"alignnormal\">[metaslider id=&#8221;56501&#8243;]<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Patients may call to request an outpatient appointment (the mobile unit may not be suitable for all types of complex diagnostic imaging): 902-473-7771 or toll-free 1-833-952-2782. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The booking line is available Monday to Friday between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The mobile X-ray will bridge the gap until a permanent unit can be installed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The addition of the digital mobile X-ray underscores Nova Scotia Health\u2019s ongoing commitment to providing high-quality, accessible care for all patients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"alignnormal\">[metaslider id=&#8221;56506&#8243;]<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"alignnormal\">[metaslider id=&#8221;56509&#8243;]<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MIDDLE MUSQUODOBOIT: Nova Scotia Health is pleased to share that a new digital mobile X-ray unit is now available to support patient care at Musquodoboit Valley Memorial Hospital in Middle Musquodoboit.
