DARTMOUTH:<\/strong> Lorraine Murphy,\u00a039, of\u00a0Dartmouth, has been\u00a0charged with\u00a0four counts of causing distress\u00a0under the\u00a0Animal Protection Act<\/em>\u00a0of Nova Scotia,\u00a0section\u00a026(1).\u00a0

The\u00a0Nova Scotia\u00a0SPCA\u00a0investigated\u00a0several\u00a0animal cruelty complaints of animal abuse during grooming appointments with Murphy at a Dartmouth grooming facility.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Murphy is scheduled to appear in\u00a0Dartmouth Provincial Court on\u00a0March 2.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The dog grooming operation is reportedly Sky’s Pet Grooming, according to social media posts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
