{"id":61667,"date":"2026-01-13T17:52:53","date_gmt":"2026-01-13T21:52:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thelaker.ca\/?p=61667"},"modified":"2026-01-13T17:52:53","modified_gmt":"2026-01-13T21:52:53","slug":"youth-charged-in-series-of-alcohol-thefts-in-hrm-rcmp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/staging-z.thelaker.ca\/?p=61667","title":{"rendered":"Youth charged in series of alcohol thefts in HRM: RCMP"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"alignnormal\">[metaslider id=&#8221;56501&#8243;]<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>HRM:<\/strong> The RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment (HRD) Community Action Response Team (CART) has charged a youth in connection with a series of high-value alcohol thefts from stores throughout the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM).\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Between January 6 and January 7, RCMP responded to multiple alcohol thefts both within and outside the HRM. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through the investigation, officers determined that the same suspect was involved in all the incidents and subsequently identified them.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ADVERTISEMENT:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"alignnormal\">[metaslider id=&#8221;56179&#8243;]<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"alignnormal\">[metaslider id=&#8221;56179&#8243;]<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>On January 9, the youth from Dartmouth was arrested and is facing the following charges:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Theft Under $5000 (ten counts)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Possession of Property Obtained by Crime (ten counts)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Disguise with Intent (ten counts)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fail to Comply with Conditional Sentence Order YCJA (20 counts)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fail to Comply with Undertaking (ten counts)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The youth appeared in Halifax Provincial Court.
