{"id":61988,"date":"2026-01-29T22:34:12","date_gmt":"2026-01-30T02:34:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thelaker.ca\/?p=61988"},"modified":"2026-01-29T22:34:12","modified_gmt":"2026-01-30T02:34:12","slug":"another-sunday-into-monday-snowstorm-forecasted-for-nova-scotia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/staging-z.thelaker.ca\/?p=61988","title":{"rendered":"Another Sunday into Monday snowstorm forecasted for Nova Scotia"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"alignnormal\">[metaslider id=&#8221;56514&#8243;]<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>EAST HANTS:<\/strong> Significant snowfall and strong winds are expected across Nova Scotia Sunday into Monday evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is potential for 15 to 30  centimetres of snowfall along with winds gusting northeasterly 60 to 80 km\/h between Sunday afternoon until Monday evening. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A developing low pressure system is expected to bring significant snowfall and blowing snow on Sunday and Monday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is some uncertainty as to where the heaviest snowfall will occur, but the potential exists for significant accumulations over some locations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Snow accumulation may make travel slow or hazardous.
