NDP: Nova Scotians losing trust in Houston government spending choices"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"alignnormal\">[metaslider id=&#8221;56501&#8243;]<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>HALIFAX:<\/strong> Official Opposition Leader Claudia Chender made the following statement in response to the Auditor General\u2019s report on health care spending.<em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cNova Scotians are losing trust because this government refuses to tell them how their money is being spent. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Today, the Auditor General confirmed that there are serious issues that need to be addressed.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ADVERTISEMENT:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"alignnormal\">[metaslider id=&#8221;56530&#8243;]<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;The AG found that one vendor had no contract, another had a contract signed after work started, and other contracts were missing important information. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;This does not inspire confidence in the way this government spends taxpayers\u2019 dollars.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;This is a government that likes to do business in the dark, and Nova Scotians are very concerned.
