{"id":63530,"date":"2026-04-01T12:45:47","date_gmt":"2026-04-01T15:45:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thelaker.ca\/?p=63530"},"modified":"2026-04-01T12:45:47","modified_gmt":"2026-04-01T15:45:47","slug":"n-s-minimum-wage-rises-to-16-75","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/staging-z.thelaker.ca\/?p=63530","title":{"rendered":"N.S. minimum wage rises to $16.75"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"alignnormal\">[metaslider id=&#8221;56501&#8243;]<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>HALIFAX:<\/strong> Nova Scotia\u2019s minimum wage increased to $16.75 per hour on April 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A second increase will bring the minimum wage to $17 per hour on October 1, 2026. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The adjustments reflect the consumer price index plus one per cent, as outlined in the minimum wage regulations.<br><br>The previous rate was $16.50 per hour.
