{"id":63555,"date":"2026-04-01T16:30:00","date_gmt":"2026-04-01T19:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thelaker.ca\/?p=63555"},"modified":"2026-04-01T16:30:00","modified_gmt":"2026-04-01T19:30:00","slug":"u15-aaa-metro-east-inferno-punch-ticket-to-atlantics-with-provincial-win-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/staging-z.thelaker.ca\/?p=63555","title":{"rendered":"U15 AAA Metro East Inferno punch ticket to Atlantics with provincial win"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"alignnormal\">[metaslider id=&#8221;56560&#8243;]<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>EAST HANTS<\/strong>: Three girls hockey players from East Hants and their U15 AAA Metro East Inferno teammates are heading to The Rock later this month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Goalie Kennedy Rees, Claire Umlah, a defenceman, and defenceman Blair Livingstone, of Nine Mile River, helped their Inferno squad to a 2-1 win over the Cape Breton Blizzard in the Hockey Nova Scotia provincial final of the U-15 AAA Girls division on the weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The win punched the team&#8217;s ticket to Newfoundland for the Atlantic championship from April 16-19. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the final, Emersyn Chaisson and Brianna Payne had the goals while Rees was stellar between the pipes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ADVERTISEMENT:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"alignnormal\">[metaslider id=&#8221;56557&#8243;]<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"alignnormal\">[metaslider id=&#8221;56511&#8243;]<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/staging-z.thelaker.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/goalie-top-award-791x1024.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-63550\" style=\"width:640px;height:auto\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Kennedy Rees was awarded top goalie.
