OAKFIELD: With the warmer weather, many people are getting out to enjoy the beaches and trails.
Unfortunately, this also includes thieves looking for crimes of opportunity.
On May 25, Halifax District RCMP responded to four thefts from vehicles, three that occurred in parking lots at trails in Oakfield and one in Cole Harbour.
RCMP want to remind the public to lock their vehicles and keep any valuables out of sight to avoid becoming a victim of property crime.
