Man sent to hospital with injuries after MVC in Enfield

ENFIELD HRM: Firefighters, EHS, and police responded to a single vehicle collision on Hwy 2 in Enfield, HRM on Sept. 21.

At approximately 6:30 p.m., 911 was called about a truck that had crashed into the ditch in the 6400 block of Hwy 2 on the HRM side of Enfield, just down from Springgreen Drive.

Almost 10 firefighters from Enfield Fire responded, with some working to get the lone person, a man, out of the vehicle and others working as traffic control on each side of the scene on the straight stretch of road.

RCMP said that the man was arrested and transported to hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

He was later released.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
