BEAVER BANK: A 48-year-old Beaver Bank man was charged March 2 with stunting along a residential community street that connects Windsor Junction and Beaver Bank.
Halifax Regional Police say in a release that a member of the Traffic Unit observed a vehicle travelling more than 50 kilometres per hour over the posted speed limit on Windgate Drive.
The driver was captured going 155 km/h in a 70 zone.

The man was ticketed for stunting under the Motor Vehicle Act, a charge that is automatically laid when a vehicle is travelling more than 50 km/h over the speed limit.
In addition, the man was suspended from driving for seven days and the vehicle he was driving was seized and will be impounded for seven days.

The fine in Nova Scotia for stunting is $2,422.50 and six points are assigned to the driver’s record.
