ELMSDALE: RCMP officers with East Hants quickly resolved an incident that began in Colchester County before continuing to the Esso at the Elmsdale Shopping Mall on April 5.

S/Sgt. Cory Bushell said onlookers in Elmsdale had an eyeful of police action as the incident unfolded.

“A threat call that originated in Colchester County ended in a tense, but uneventful take-down in our area,” he said. “Due to the nature of the complaint, several police officers responded.”

He said the matter was quickly resolved without incident or criminal charges.

“However, one of the involved vehicles was found to be unregistered and uninsured,” said S/Sgt. Bushell said. “It was towed, and the driver given a Summary Offense Ticket.”
