COLCHESTER COUNTY: Five players and a coach with ties to East Hants Soccer earned a provincial U18 AA championship earlier this month.
Emma Brannen; MacKenzie Snow; Norah MacPhee; Emma Anthony; Dani Wolthers; and E.H. Soccer coach and official Josie Thompson were part of the championship winning Colchester County girls Riders soccer team.
The Riders U18AA team defeated Suburban 1-0 and HCU 3-1 in round robin play to earn a spot in the provincial gold medal game.

Played at Harbour East field, the Riders were crowned provincial champions with a 1-0 win over the UDFC Dragons.
It was a hard fought game that could have easily saw the Dragons come out on top.
The banner marked a great way to end a summer of soccer for the Riders and their six with ties to East Hants soccer.
