TRURO: It was a silver medal performance for the Tri County Rangers U-12 AAA.

In Truro at the Baseball N.S. provincial championships for U-12 AAA Girls last weekend, the Rangers won three of their five games they played.

The losses came to the same team—one of those being in the championship game.

In the opener the Rangers defeated Truro narrowly 7-6, and followed that with a 14-7 loss to Yarmouth.

In the next game, a 7-5 win over Hammonds Plains sent the Rangers to one of the semi-finals, where they drubbed West Hants 15-8.

That win advanced Tri-County to the final, where Yarmouth edged the local squad 4-3 for the gold.

Players on the Rangers have been part of the LWF Baseball Association.
