Pilgrim-Edwards brings leadership qualities to expansion QMJHL Regiment

ST. JOHN’S, NL: An Elmsdale hockey player is expected to bring leadership and scoring to the expansion Newfoundland Regiment of the Quebec Maritime Junior Hockey League (QMJHL).

The Regiment, formerly the Bathurst Titan, announced their starting roster on Wednesday.

Blake Pilgrim-Edwards, who will wear jersey no. 7, was in that announced starting roster. He was a regular with the Titan since making the team in 2022-2023.

Last year with the Titan, Pilgrim-Edwards compiled 10 goals and 21 helpers in 62 games played. He also had 50 penalty minutes.

The Regiment kick start their season welcoming the Moncton Wildcats to the Rock for a pair of games Sept. 18 and Sept. 19 at Mary Brown’s Centre. Game times for both days are 7 p.m.
