WAVERLEY: A track-and-field athlete from Waverley has found a new home.
Iowa State Cyclones have announced that Julia Konigshofer will be joining their club team. She competes in Javelin.
The announcement was posted on Konigshofer’s own Instagram page.
Konigshofer, a 2025 Canada Games silver medalist, had been a member of the University of Memphis athletics program until recently entering the transfer portal.
The Cyclones are also an NCAA Division 1 team, competing in the Big 12 Conference.
