BEAVER BANK: An area volunteer fire department is helping out a local community foundation.
On Friday, members with Beaver Bank-Kinsac Fire Association Station 48 made a donation to the Cobequid Community Health Foundation.
The foundation was appreciative of the volunteer firefighters for the $5,000 donation.
The department said that donations such as this can only be made with the support of the community through the Nova Scotia Firefighters 50-50 .
