Station 40 recognizes two firefighters for service to community

DUTCH SETTLEMENT: Two women firefighters with a local Halifax Regional Fire & Emergency Services station were recognized last Wednesday night.

During their regular training night, Station 40 in Dutch Settlement took the time to honour the two firefighters for reaching milestones in their careers.

Station 40 honoured Susan Wilson for 15 years of serving the community and surrounding area.

Sarah Salmon was recognized for five years of serving the community and surrounding area as firefighters.
