East Hants Tigers win multiple provincial U-14 basketball championships

ELMSDALE: The East Hants Tigers were on a roll last weekend at U-14 boys and girls provincial basketball championships.

The boys side won the Basketball Nova Scotia banner in U-14 Division 3 and Division 7 and in U-14 division 4 girls.

In Division 7, the Tigers defeated YMCA 80-67.

Kohl Potter was named Tournament MVP while Jack Gorman was an all star.

In u14 Division 3 boys (main picture for the story), they beat South Shore Surge in a game that left many parents from East Hants with not many nails left.

The final score was 45-43.

Tournament MVP for the Tigers was Jake Guscott, while Reed Candow earned the All Star nod.

In U14 Division 4 girls, the Tigers beat Bedford Eagles 34-29 to bring the championship back to East Hants.

Emma Corkum was the tournament MVP for the Tigers.

Meanwhile, All Star was Clare Foley.
